Het Engelse vakblad ePhotozine heeft de jaar awards bekend gemaakt van alle fotografische producten van dit jaar. Hierbij werd de nieuwe Samyang XP 85mm F/1.2 uitgeroepen tot beste "3rd party lens" van 2016.
